I Thought We Would Have More Time

Hey. I am not going to post about fashion today. It seems to me that part of blogging is making a choice to share personal parts of yourself with the public. Making a choice to let strangers in to become friends and followers and sharers of the same interests. But to do this I feel that honesty is a neccessiity.

My mother lost her best friend this week. She passed surrounded by her children and grandchildren at home. My heart breaks for them all. She was a wonderful woman whom I looked up to greatly. As a child I lived with a mix of awe, fear and love of her. As an adult it grew to respect, admiration and a desire to model the kind of woman I want to be from her example. The world lost a wonderful person. A great family has lost a mother and grandmother and my heart is broken for them and all who knew and loved her.
