So today I just wanted to show you a couple of pairs of earrings I bought at Cato and then a little something special I found in Mexico this past November.
I bought these earrings at Cato for $1.99 a pair!!!! You can see the original price of $8.00 marked out on the tag. I will be able to wear the gunmetal gray teardrop filigree design with several different blouses and dresses that I already own. I was glad to find a piece at such a great price that I can use to easily change my outfits up.
I like these gold coin earrings and can wear these in so many ways. I think they will be a fun piece to add to casual outfits and believe I can dress them up a little Fancy. :)
And I wanted to share these special pieces I found in Mexico. It was like they were meant to be mine. We did not shop a lot this last trip. The prices were high and we went with the intent to adventure, explore and relax. Not shop. But the second to the last day we went out to buy some coffee, pick up the kids some Mexican candies, a bottle of Tequila, etc. The store gave us a discount on jewelry for our purchase and my husband wanted me to purchase a trinket to bring home. So I began to browse the jewelry cases. And there were many cases. In the last one after not seeing anything I really wanted to spend money on, I found these...
They sat there, the set, together in the case and I knew I wanted them. I didn't even care about the price. I was going to purchase them. And they ended up being only $60 after our discount for the set. I actually released a breath when they gave us the price. You see, these seahorses match my only tattoo. The tattoo that I put on myself to remember and never forget my sister-in-law whom we lost 13 years ago. My seahorse matched my brother's tattoo, a seahorse which was in a crystal ball held by a wizard. And now he too is gone not even a year past. So you see why they were meant to be mine.
